A beautiful day

I had a very full day.
It was wonderful and eye opening. I got to sit in on the writing contest winners ceremony at the library and it was so much fun. The kids were all excited and it was so nice to see how happy they were. It took me back to the days when I was in elementary school and gave me that feeling of possibility again. This made me realize for sure that I want to work in a school and work with kids more than anything. Though, I'm sure I will end up working in a public library for some amount of time.
I said goodbye to some coworkers and they were all so wonderful.
I packed up what I could to take home; I'll pack the rest up Saturday.
I bought my midnight ticket for The Avengers!!! I CANNOT wait!! It'll be my last time with some amazing people :(
I made the last video I'll ever make in a dorm room. Wasn't perfect, but it was fun.
I had some delicious m&m ice cream and watched another wonderful episode of Touch.
Tomorrow is my last day at my internship. I am actually so worn out at this point that I am so relieved to go home and just relax. This may be my last BEDA post because it's most likely I'll be very busy at home and won't even think about it, but maybe not.

Three More Days

Only three more days until I go home before graduation! It's hard to believe and really sad. I've been to the last HP meeting I'll ever go to and it hasn't really hit me yet. I know next week I'll be a complete wreck.

The weekend was just completely awesome. Yule ball was fun, Triwizard Picnic was amazing! We basically spent the whole day eating outside and rooting for our house champion (even though Ravenclaw's didn't have a chance). Gryffindor won Triwizard cup and Hufflepuff ended up winning the House cup, which made me happy because they deserved it. We also made up a new Hunger Games dodgeball game which was totally epic. Kids that were hanging around in the park joined in as well.

Of course then I got sick when I got back to my room and stayed in bed all day Sunday instead of packing. My mind still feels kind of foggy and I felt like I was going to faint at work a couple times, but I managed to get through.

Just three more days. I can survive.

Geeky Things

It was a very strange day. Everyone at work was attending a workshop so I was basically left on my own with a part-timer from a different department. This of course meant I had to do a lot. Five carts full of books came in one after the other at 9 this morning. Thankfully volunteers did show up and took care of that.

I've been going to bed with headaches for the past couple of nights, its probably all this stupid Easter chocolate. Of course it could also be the weird weather. It was 80 yesterday, which was insane and then it was a beautiful 60 today. Oh how I've missed wearing sandals.

Eureka came back on last night!!! It is the last season:( The reason I love this show so much is because of the episodes where I don't see things coming; last night especially. I love Felicia Day dearly. She is an awesome, awkward geek just like so many people I know (including me). I'm also enjoying her new youtube channel! There are so many awesome people on it! I can't wait for various episodes of table top; Wil Wheaton is hilarious.

Where's my confidence?

Finishing up watching Radio Rebel on Disney channel right now. I was and pretty much still am like Tara. I can't talk to guys and can't do crowds. Only difference is she broke out of her shell and I haven't. I wish I could be more confident, but it just doesn't come naturally.
I didn't end up putting a video up today, I knew I wouldn't... I just watched movies all day. I did do a little of my assignment though, which was progress.
It was a lot of fun watching some Doris Day movies today; Calamity Jane and Glass Bottom Boat. It really brought me back. I feel like I had such a different childhood than everyone else.

Holy Musical Batman!

Just started watching Holy Musical Batman!! I hope it's as good as I think it will be!

It's been a busy Friday the 13th. I put some items in my Etsy shop for the first time!! Hopefully they'll sell. There's a Hufflepuff scarf and bracelet in there now. I'll probably put up the other house bracelets tomorrow. I'm also thinking of making a video tomorrow, but we'll see if I actually follow through with that. 

Okay, back to watching the musical!

Casual Vacancy

Well, JK Rowling announced the information of her new book! It's Casual Vacancy and it's about a man who dies unexpectedly and leaves a vacancy on the town council. I know it's all anyone is talking about, but I had to mention it, it's too important.

It's been an awesome day. I put certificates with the kids' books for a contest and finished up a fairy book list, which I think looks so pretty. It was beautiful today, compared to the hail, rain and snow from yesterday. What is this strange weather?

I've been working on the second half of my Home video and can't seem to find the right song to go with the video. I may have to take some more footage when I go back home at the end of the month. I realize I didn't shoot any of our basement and Mac's room was a disaster in the last video.

Touch is an amazing show. I've always loved when things fall in to place together, it makes me so happy!

A Great Weekend at the Beach

I'm right now finishing up my lunch hour and listening to music, I'm not really sure why I didn't do this before. Usually i just read blogs on my nook. Have I mentioned how much I love the Pulse app. It's so great and easy to use.
Easter weekend at the beach was amazing. We sat on the beach and sang along with the guitar and had some Smirnoff ices. Almost all my family was there, aside from 2 cousins. The most interesting thing was arranging the beds to get 12 girls into a room, we had to extend the room to the hall though to fit. Then, Easter morning the alarm started going off at 8am along with a wailing siren from the bathroom. The power in the town and the town next to us went out. We endured that alarm for 2 hours until it finally went off. We spent much of the morning outside on the deck looking out to the beach. It was beautiful and made me actually love the beach, when I had pretty much despised it before.

A Long Wednesday

So excited for this weekend. Easter Egg hunt, walking dogs on the beach and the majority of the family... it's going to be awesome. Today was a very long day at work, but tomorrow will make up for that since I don't go in until noon. However, I just found out that the paper I have due on Sunday is 6 pages long and I only started it today. Hopefully I'll be able to at least get 4 pages done by tomorrow night so I won't have to worry about it so much over the weekend. It's just writing about 3 experiences I've had interning, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

I wish I had my car up here desperately. I really miss driving around and being able to go anywhere I feel like. It be so great if I could just go to a real grocery store. I cannot wait until I have my own apartment and I'm able to cook anything I want. But until then I guess I'll have to live off chinese, cereal, easy mac and tuna. I don't think I'll ever eat easy mac again after having it twice a week for 4 months.

Psych was on at 10 and was hilarious as usual.

BEODA 2

This may turn out to be every other day because my internship is consuming me. There's only 3 weeks left and it's hard to believe. I had tons of fun adding some books to the Harry Potter and Spiderwick read-alike lists yesterday and today. Of course with every book I found was one I had to add to my to-read list. I'm currently reading the 2nd book of 39 Clues. I finished the 1st over the weekend, but I've only had time to get through the first couple chapters of the second. Hopefully I'll finish it over the weekend. I will be going to the beach for Easter, though so maybe not. I enjoyed the first one a lot, but I've found I have to be in the mood to read it. It doesn't help that I'm watching way too much Battlestar Galactica lately...it's sooooo good. Can I just be Kara Thrace?

I am so psyched for this month. The Yule Ball and Triwizard Tournament are coming up fast and should be extremely fun. Plus Easter and possibly seeing a model of our new house, it's too much for me to handle! And yesterday's Bones was amazing. The baby was so adorable and it was perfect how they set everything up. Hopefully it'll just get better. 

Another year for BEDA?

I haven't blogged in a long long time and I realized it was April once again, so here it goes again. It does seem to make the last month of the semester go faster. And of course the end of this semester means I will graduate!! I've sent my app in for Greensboro, so I'll hopefully here back from them sometime in June and figure out where I'll be for the next 2 years.

My parents have also made the final decision on a house in PA, which is extremely exciting. It's in a brand new development, which means it'll take 6 months build though. This means that we'll be living with my Uncle in PA for the summer along with a lot of my other family. It's going to be like we're in a movie. I don't think I could possibly explain the stuff that goes on in that house, it's too unbelievable.

Hopefully tomorrow isn't a long Monday at work. I like work I just seem to get tired easily of doing the same things everyday. Hopefully when I get paid to do these things I'll feel more comfortable around other employees.

Currently I'm waiting for Once Upon a Time to start and to eat some delicious cookies and milk.
